Dr. Julie Denstedt told her parents at the age of 5 that she wanted to be a veterinarian. She always had pets growing up, and as soon as she turned 13, Julie started volunteering at veterinary clinics in order to pursue her goal! She continued to work at veterinary clinics throughout high school, as well as during her undergraduate degree, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph.
Dr. Denstedt went on to complete her DVM degree at the University of Melbourne, Australia. During her time in Australia, she gained a further passion for providing high quality small animal medicine. Upon graduation in December 2017, Dr. Denstedt had developed particular interests in internal medicine, preventative medicine and dermatology.
Originally from Caledon, Ontario, Dr. Denstedt has recently moved to the area, and is enjoying exploring what Oakville/ Mississauga has to offer. At home, Dr. Denstedt has a saint Bernard, and poodle mix, who she visits at her parents whenever she can.
