What to Expect

Veterinary Service with Courtesy & Respect!

As a new client of our Glen Erin Animal Hospital and Meadowvale Animal Clinic in Mississauga, you can expect our full attention to your pet’s needs. When you are looking for a veterinary care clinic you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service.  We have assembled a caring team of veterinary professionals and support staff to provide the best possible care for your pet.  We have a state of the art veterinary facility and equipment including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound and more.

To service you faster, you can fill out the New Client Registration Form found on our website prior to your examination. Please bring in any medical history you have of your pet when you come to your first appointment, or let us know ahead of time where we can obtain your history form and we will ensure this is a part of your medical record.  It’s best to keep a journal of your pet’s health throughout his or her life, including behavioural shifts.  If you have something like this, please share it with our team.  If not, let us know everything that you think may be important and/or pertinent information.

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we’ll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet.

One of our veterinarians will then examine your pet from nose to tail, ask you further questions and may recommend diagnostic tests if needed. Our registered veterinary technician assisting the doctor will take notes and assist the doctor throughout the appointment. Together, our doctors will discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan with you if this is warranted.

This is a great time to ask questions! Our veterinary team wants to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing. We can provide you with helpful pet care information and answer any wellness and care questions you may have. We are committed to following up regularly with phone calls, emails and/or texts to see how your pet is doing and if you have any concerns.

Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.

We are excited to meet you and your pets!
